Dr. Yadavalli Receives FIGS Faculty Mentor of the Year Award

Dr. Sam Yadavalli has received a FIGS (First-Year Interest Group Seminar) Faculty Mentor of the Year award. This award recognizes outstanding support of peer instructors within the program. Sam was nominated by Fawaaz Masood, a member of the program. She was honored with this award at the FIGS 25^th anniversary dinner on December 11th.

The FIGS program allows for full-time juniors or seniors to develop engaging one-credit courses that introduce first-year students to dozens of exciting fields and to a wide range of involvement, academic, and professional development opportunities here at Rutgers.
