Dr. Yadavalli Receives Theobad Smith Society's Young Investigator Award

Dr. Srujana Samhita Yadavalli has been presented with the Theobald Smith Society's 2024 Young Investigator Award. The Young Investigator Award is presented to an early career scientist who embodies research excellence, commitment to service, and limitless potential in the microbiological sciences. The TSS Officers were impressed by Dr. Yadavalli's active role within TSS, her recently awarded NIH MIRA, and her countless publications on bacterial small membrane proteins.

Dr. Yadavalli is to deliver a keynote lecture at the Theobald Smith Society's Fall 2024 Symposium. This event will be held on Friday, November 8th 2024 in the Alampi Room, Marine and Coastal Sciences Building on Cook Campus at Rutgers University. The start time is 4:00 PM will closing remarks being at 8:30 PM. You must be a society member to attend.
