Highest Honors for Amy Gladstein

Amy Gladstein of the McKim Lab

Amy Gladstein is an undergraduate research assistant in the McKim Lab. This year she will graduate with the highest honors given by the Department of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry (MBB) and Rutgers University. Her honors thesis won the Henry Rutgers Scholar Award which recognizes honors students who exemplify outstanding achievements in both written and oral defense of their senior thesis. Her poster, “Regulation of Meiotic Spindle Assembly and Cohesion in Drosophila Oocytes by PP2A,” also won first place prize at the MBB Poster Session. In the coming academic year, she will be pursuing her Ph.D. in Cell & Molecular Biology at the University of Pennsylvania.
