Summit H.S. Teacher, Students Accepted into Prestigious Science Research Programs at Rutgers University

SUMMIT, NJ - Summit High School (SHS) biology teacher, Caitlyn Botti, working with the Hilltop City's School District's Science Research Liaison, Dr. Patricia Fontan, has successfully applied for and gained acceptance into two, year-long science research focused programs sponsored through Rutgers University.

The programs are 2015 "Conducting Authentic Molecular Biology and Genomics Research in High Schools (MBGR)," and the 2015 "Waksman Student Scholars Program (WSSP)."

In addition to Botti, two SHS students -- rising sophomore Manuel Gallego and rising senior Juliana Nociari --have been accepted into the 2015 WSSP program.
