Dismukes awarded biofuel grant

Gerard Dismukes, distinguished professor, Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, and laboratory director of the Waksman Institute of Microbiology, Rutgers University–New Brunswick, is the principal investigator of a three-year award totaling $1.2 million. The project, titled Robust Microalgal Production Strains for High Yield Growth on Fossil Fuel Gas: Toward Cost Effective Biofuels and CO² Mitigation, is being supported by The Global Climate and Energy Project at Stanford University.
