Mercedes walked in the Graduate School of New Brunswick's graduation celebration and was hooded by Kim! It was a great celebration! The Genetics department also held their graduation celebration today as well. NikunjAnna Maria and Laura were all recognised there for their hard work. Way to go McKim lab graduates!!

Sarah and Aashka traveled all the way to San Diego for the American Society for Cell Biology annual meeting. Sarah presented a Microsymposium talk and Aashka presented a poster, plus they got to go to La Jolla to see the seals on the beach - successful meeting!

Runi defended her Ph.D. Thesis - she PASSED! The lab threw a party in her honor with champagne, delicious food from Mamoun's, and cake. Lots of her friends were in attendance and her sister came all the way from India for the big day. Great job, Runi!!

Annual field trip time again - this time to the beach. Or is it "the shore"? We hit Point Pleasant Beach and the fun was only slightly "dampened" when it POURED. We still managed to swim, build mammoth sand structures, play mini golf, and no one got sun burned!
